About 11 years ago, I picked up an inexpensive all solid wood Kentucky A style and after noodling on it a couple years got one of their nice F styles (a prototype actually). A couple years ago, I got another prototype from the designer at Loar. It's an Adirondack topped version of their LM-700 model and it rocks!! I use K&K Twin pickup in it and have a ball switching off from guitar to mandolin and Dobro during the night.

Another one who plays both, but my mandolin playing is a long way behind my guitar. Still a fun addiiton for those times you need it.
