Default Heinonen SJ build

Learning to attach pics. Picking up this guitar tomorrow. Here's the back - figured walnut - will have the finished guitar tomorrow, and will post pics - if I have that process figured out. We'll see if this works. (well, resolution dropped a lot. working on it. That's abalone, although you can't really tell in this pic)

If looks could kill....
Thank goodness they can't, so far as I know.
That back is just hypnotic. And I recognize the Olson neck stripe inlay.
Looking forward to other images.
You have some fun ahead.

That’s not an inlay—that’s a 5-piece neck (similar, as you point out, to the way James Olson fabricates his).

Met him at the Fretboard Summit in Chicago yesterday. He brought 4 guitars that were already sold. A lot of bling. And lovely instruments. I'll have to get some pictures off my phone.

One of those guitars was mine :-)!! I would love to see pics of all of his guitars. Hope you enjoyed the summit.
