Default SOLD ~ COLLINGS 01MH CUSTOM 12-FRET, HIGH-STRING Set-Up, VINTAGE WHITE Finish

[SIZE="3"]I hope You enjoy my High-Resolution and Detailed Guitar Photography

~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~ SOLD ~

COLLINGS 01MH CUSTOM 12-FRET, VINTAGE WHITE finish, HIGH-STRING Set-Up, Lay-Away OK

I ordered and bought this New in 2014. The Collings thin STAINED VINTAGE WHITE finish is both exquisite and unique.
It is reminiscent of a Vintage Gibson Limed Mahogany finish but with an Egg-Shell White hue.

The model specs are standard Collings 01 12-fret with the exception of the custom features and upgrades that I requested and because these are unique,
I will list the upgrades here and the photos will help identify and display them.

• Custom HIGH-STRING set-up
• Mahogany Top
• Antique White finish - full body
• Solid Headstock w/Tortoise Binding
• Tortoise Rosette
• Tortoise Neck Binding
• Pyramid Bridge
• No Tongue Brace
• Waverly Ivoroid Oval buttons
• Grained Ivoroid Logo
• Grained Ivoroid Bridge Pins
• Grained Ivoroid Fingerboard dots

https://www.collingsguitars.com/acou...ars/01-12fret/

The condition is a “conservative” 9.75 out of 10.
This has only been played sparingly at home. There is NO fret wear.
The label is signed by Bill Collings.
The CASE is clean too and all the factory Paperwork I received is included.

The wider nut and small body of this model makes these a fingerpickers dream, factor in the HIGH STRING, Nashville tuning setup and it is both heavenly sounding and fun.
The guitar is set up and plays VERY nicely with a New set of D’addario EJ-38H, a HIGH STRING set-up, however, by merely slotting the Nut string slots, a Standard String setup can easily be installed,
however, I feel this guitar is very special with the High Strings and Collings happily made it for me this way.

This is a very Light Weight and Resonant guitar. I like everything about it but I have FAR to many instruments and this guitar is simply not getting used, someone should get to enjoy it.
At last count I had over 100 Acoustic Guitars, some Newer and many Old… I think need help so please BUY this beauty. (I know I have a ton of electric guitars somewhere too)

If it helps anyone, I would consider a Deposit and Lay-Away, Terms to be discussed.

[B]This Instrument is SOLD.

This is without question the most gorgeous guitar I've ever seen - 12 fret 0 and 00 guitars have always been my favorite style of acoustic both to play and to look at, but this takes the cake. The black fingerboard and headstock against the creamy off white finish is a beautiful two tone effect, and the matching tortoise binding and pickguard are the perfect finishing touch. Every appointment from the bridge pins to the tuners to the headstock inlay matches the aesthetic - the whole thing is just executed to perfection.

I bet it sounds amazing too - I've never owned a Collings but from what I've heard on youtube they know how to get that wonderfully dry punchy kind of sound out of mahogany that some of the trendier acoustic builders have gone away from in favor of a less midrangy, more overtone laden kind mahogany sound. I can't afford this guitar but I'm still going to be sad when someone buys it just cause the pictures won't be here to stare at anymore. If the day ever comes that I can buy a 5k guitar I may ask Collings if they can make an exact copy of this one.

Thank You for the kind words. I custom spec'd every aspect of this guitar and it is quite stunning in my opinion too, and the Collings attention to detail is some of the best of any production guitar, and better than some low production boutique guitars that i have seen too.
I own several Custom Collings models and they all exceed my expectations. They do sound good too but who is holding any guitar can affect the tone they produce.
If mine were all getting used i would not sell them but alas, many are just sitting for too long.
If it helps. i am willing to consider a deposit and flexible lay-away.
Thanks for popping in.
