What are you using this gear for? Live performance? Recording? What other gear are you using it with?

Depending on what you want to do, it looks like it could be connected via either the Effects Loop or by running the Radial output to the input of the Equinox, then then the Equinox output to your other gear (recording console, mixer, etc.).

However, I would also have to ask why you want to do this. That Radial preamp looks like it has some pretty good EQ capability built in. Do you really need the Equinox?

You can certainly put the Equinox in the effects loop. However, that might not be the best option depending on what you're trying to do. It looks like the effects loop in this pre is designed to switch in effects using the stomp button. Of course, you could leave it active all the time, but I'm not sure that makes sense. It might make more sense to simply put the Equinox between the Radial and the next piece of gear (mixer, amp, whatever).

Also, if you do end up using the Equinox, my recommendation would be to put the EQ controls on the Radial to the neutral position (12 o'clock?) to take them out of the picture. Using multiple levels of EQ is more likely to degrade your sound than improve it.

If you could tell us more about your complete setup and how you want to use this, we could give you more useful advice.

I had both but sold Equinox.

I had enough sound from the PZ radial.

I blended K&K & Sunrise and send the signal to Equinox and processed there to PA system.

but since PA system was good enough to eq the sound from PZ radial.. i just skipped the Eqnuinox.
it's a great unit for sure.but not on my playing purpose.

good luck~

I liked the Radial ..

As you mentioned, equinox signal was very weak for me since my pickups were passive (K&K , Sunrise).. I send signal through my DI Box (active) to Equinox. then it boost the volume..

what's your pickup combo?

I had Solstice with k&k trinity system. it served great..~

I only chose radial pz because of boost system. and some looping outputs to other pedals..(well, solstice has it too tho)..
