I had about 5 gigs, 3 jams and played guitar on the beach twice while this thread was playing out. Just sayin'

Default Taylor V bracing

When I first read the article, I immediately thought of the giants in acoustic/classical guitar design. We're talking Orville Gibson, of course CF Martin, Antonio Torres, the Ramirez dynasty, and many others. To have someone state that they have revolutionized the guitar without giving any time for it to prove itself is very strange. I have always been a Taylor supporter but I suspect they have gone to the "dark side" of marketing hype. Very sad. They are even changing the label to have Andy Power's name on it. What????? How crazy is that? What if these guitars are found to implode in a decade due to not being able to manage the tension? So many unknowns. Jeff B
