Just to clarify - it will be 60% of, not 60% off, MSRP. Give one of the forum sponsors a phone call and you will be quite pleased.

The D-18 is on my short list as well. All I have played have been excellent and I remember one in particular that I should have bought on the spot. Next one I play like that I plan to.

Yeah I had to do the math to make sure I wasn't crazy. Key word is of and not off.

I don't find Martins "astonishingly consistent" at all. Quite the opposite, I find them surprisingly inconsistent.

If you just want a D-18, any one of hem will suffice. This seems the goal with some. However, if you want an exceptional one, you may have to play 10 or more.

But if you feel lucky...….

Maury's Music in Coaldale,Pa
Wildwood Music, Coshocton, OH. ...are a couple you can Google

Both will sell you a D18 at around $1860.
Maury has them in stock. Wildwood would have to order. Both are super to deal with.

That is the logic I use when starting negotiations with places like Sweetwater and I can typically get pretty close.

They are, but they will still order a guitar from Martin for anyone who wants one.

Sure and good luck.
If you contact Wildwood, you will speak with Don, Marty or Brian.
Tell them Jamie sent you.

I was offered 40% off Standard series and up from a forum sponsor. 35% on the 15 series. We didn't discuss the other series.
