I have fallen under the spell of the Amicus two times but eventually sold the guitar because it can not be tuned to E. The capo on the second fret frustrated me and not talented enough to transpose my music on the fly to make it work. An amazingly wonderful instrument and adds a unique sound to anyone's music. I am just not talented enough to get beyond the novelty of the sound of this instrument.

Just curious as to where it fits in your repertoire. Do you play original music with it?

Hi Acwild,
I play finger style melodies on it none of which are original. I bought it to practice flat picking but i haven't used it in that way much. Barb |

That puts it exactly one octave lower than my Baritone
