Default My goodness. Kim Walker content.

Have to share my excitement with this amazing guitar. I’ve wanted one forever and finally pulled the trigger after selling some very nice instruments.

An understated 1999 000 with your basic Sitka and Mohagany. Bling free with subtle touches. I can’t express what a pleasure it was speaking with Mr. Walker before I pulled the trigger and joy that the tone of this guitar brings me! I won’t even try to describe the tone because I can’t do it justice. It just makes me smile.

Great guitar!

But hey...if you can't due justice to describing the tone...how about giving us some sound clips of you playing it!

The we would understand...

DUDE!!!! Congrats! You scored big time.

A Kim Walker is the best guitar that I have ever played. It's definitely my grail guitar and should the right one pop up, I might do the unthinkable and break the piggy bank.

I tried getting on Kim's build list a few years back, but he had just closed it. I think his wait list was 8 years out at the time.

Thanks for sharing, play that axe in good health!

Two problems there. One, I have no clue how to post a sound clip. Two, my playing definitely does not do it justice! (;

That, in a nutshell, is the essence of good tone...

Kim walker is a genius luthier and his best work would be at the apex of lutherie and be one of fhe reference points that constitute the tonal standard for the kind of guitars he makes. A brazilian SJ he made years ago is still one of the best guitars that I have ever played in my life.

Congrats!!!!!! WOW that's a gorgeous guitar and I bet it sounds heavenly!

Queue some AGF person to say start a new post "Kim Walker, are you just paying for the name only? I have *insert random model here* that sounds just as good as the Kim Walker"

"I believe this is your new guitar:"

Wow. If that's it, I have to confess to being just a little envious. That's nice tone.

OK, I'm officially jealous. And drooling. Play it in good health for many years to come.
