Amazon sells microphone covers, similar to a pop filter, for ~$8 here.

I appreciate your circumstances. You're not in charge of deciding when that virus catches you - as it will unless you're living in a cave somewhere. I've had it once that I know of. It was minor (two days a bit wonky), but I tested positive for 11 days. It did my head in, but I didn't have the pressure of losing money. It must be very difficult for you to balance these competing demands: enjoyment and potentially losing work. I don't envy you. All the best and I hope it all works for you.

We used disposable mic covers similar to these at our festival in September. Changed after every use.
