Default In search for a mahogany fingerstyle guitar. Need help!

It's time for GAS.
I'm looking for a mahogany fingerstyle guitar. My idea is spruce top, 1 3/4 nut, more than 2 3/16 at saddle. Maybe shorter scale than 25.5? Still not sure.
I tried a lot of Martin's and I liked a 17 series with 12 fret at body but it was impossible to reach the high notes. I tried some 18-21 and 28 series and I decided I prefer mahogany. I already have rosewood guitars and for this one I want the warm clarity and separation of mahogany.
Even if I liked them so much, what I don't like in Martin guitars are trebles. They are sparkle but thin. I like FAT trebles.
I tried a few Gibson's and I liked the treble much more and the general tone was fantastic, but the nut is quite less than 1 3/4. Too narrow for me. My main guitar is 1 13/16.
I played a CEO 7, great sound but the vintage neck was not fast enough; I'm going to try a 00-18 in 2-3 weeks: the neck should be very good but I don't know again about the trebles....
Taylor... didn't find one I fell in love. And trebles are thin too.
Larriveé? I'm selling one so I'm looking for something different.
Any idea?

Well if the Taylor's you've tried had trebles that are too thin......... hmmmmm. Nothing thin about the trebles on Martin 000-18's that I've played or owned. You might try a Bourgeois OMS – Country Boy Adirondack Mahogany. Or a Breedlove Frontier Concerto. Rich trebles and solid bass.

Thanks for quick reply. I take a look at these models.
I forgot to say I don't want an overbuilt guitar. It should be light and very responsive.
And... I live in Europe. It's not easy to find everything here.

The Martin 000-18GE is a great fingerstyle guitar, the trebles are not thin on that guitar.
If you're patient you can probably find a used David Webber roundbody or OM in mahogany. I have a Webber small jumbo in spruce / sapele that checks all the boxes on your wish list, really great guitar.
Others on my radar would be a mahogany Santa Cruz OM or Gibson Keb Mo model (wider nut).

Good luck with the search.

Beat me to it! All hog, 2 3/16" spacing with 1 3/4" nut. I've owned two. Something quite special.

Breedlove Moonlight Concert. Incredible tone, playability, and clarity of tone. Just try one. Light as a bag of chips, very simple looks.

You haven't mentioned a budget, but I would certainly tell you to consider a custom built instrument.

You also mention not wanting anything overbuilt - easiest way to avoid that!

I’d recommend a Taylor 530. All mahogany dried with a 1 3/4 nut and 24 3/4 scale. Really an awesome guitar.

I have a Webber MJ mahogany/spruce and it's an excellent fingerstyle guitar! Dry and Woody with wonderful note separation. Definitely worth a look...

In Europe why not look at a Furch. And one could even say a Cedar topped Hog from Furch would be a mean fingerstyle guitar. However, you could easily find the Sitka version.
