I prefer a computer and browser. The Internet vBulletin software is incredibly powerful and most apps reduce the surfing options rather than increase them.

Tablets/touchscreen smart phones are overrated IMO - and probably the main reason why my eyesight has gotten so bad. Very few things are important enough to "tap" out on something that always gets butchered by having fat fingers, a dirty screen or worse: autotext.
I invested in a gaming laptop so that I have a full keyboard (that's backlit) and has the option of connecting to my smart TV or an external monitor. Other than that it's still portable but fully functional.
