2015 Kostal Jumbo Spruce / Coco
I recently acquired a Kostal Mod D. After playing both until my fingers bled, I have decided to part with the Jumbo. Both are magnificent examples of the art and both have the trademark Kostal basses. The Mod D gives me more volume as you would expect so I am reluctantly offering the Jumbo for sale. There are several YouTube videos of this model guitar that accurately represent the open and resonant tone this builder creates in every guitar.
The guitar has a spruce soundboard with Cocobolo back and sides. The lower bout is 16.375 inches. The neck is 25.25", 14 frets to the body and has a middle of the road thickness/carve. Nut width and string spacing are 1.75" and 2.25" respectively. Tuners are Gotoh 510's. The guitar has been set up professionally and the body buffed to remove minor scratches. It is now in what I consider to be mint condition with no flaws or damage of any type. The instrument comes with a blue Hoffee case. I am asking $10,950. North America only. Buyer pays shipping. Posts like this are exactly why I should not be checking the AGF classifieds. I'm just glad there's no sound clip on this bad boy. The devil on my sholder was disappointed that Jason didn't play it in the YouTube clip, but the angel breathed a sigh of relief when the clip ended. Now, if you will excuse me, I need a cold shower...  GLWS!!!!! |
