Let's assume the shops know what they're doing. You've been turned down twice.

You may want to consider the fact that it may be time to get the guitar rebuilt. That damage is pretty severe. Did they tell you specifically why they didn't want to work on it? Most of what you've described is fairly straightforward stuff for most experienced repair shops

I don't understand "rejected" after the specific list of what's needed. Did they list that and then say they wouldn't do it? or was it too expensive? It sounds like they assessed and recommended, and you decided not to have them proceed. If that's true, you are looking for something other than a shop to do the work - you are looking for a shop to do it to your requirements, which are not clear.

I would add to the recommended list Butch Boswell in Bend, OR (previously on the Calif coast near San Luis Obispo). Long history and experience in high end repair, and is now repairing as well as building his own (I have one - excellent guitar). https://boswellguitars.com/

Best,

Phil

Two shops saying they won’t do the repair makes no sense to me, unless they won’t do the repair for the budget you have, maybe that is more like it.

Bit of work there, but nothing a competent luthier could not do, sight unseen and going by the list you have quoted, your looking at a 1000 ish range for a repair.

6 months in a humidity controlled area, that’s crazy, 4 days is more than sufficient to climatise the guitar correctly

One other thought, if you're a reseller on something like Reverb, is it possible that they just couldn't get the guitar repaired within the budget to allow you some space for profit?
