Furch Vintage 1 RS SM
HI THERE. YES, YOU: I’d love to get this into the hands of someone who will enjoy it. If you’re interested in a straight sale, message me and let’s see what we can work out
First off, this is a lovely instrument, clear and punchy (although not thumpy, more Euro refined than Gibson brash). I didn't love the way the US distibutor responded to a concern, and that's dimmed the joy that ought to accompany any good acoustic. No issues here other than my own need for balance. One pinhead ding (pictured) as it came new from the shop. Otherwise dead clean with the Hiscox case, COA, and all accessories. A new Vintage 1 of any stripe will run between 1800 and 2000 at most retailers. Furch's not making the round shoulder body style currently, which is unfortunate. There's exactly one other example available with no transactional flexibility. In a perfect world, someone's got a trade within striking distance of Atlanta where we can both have a moment in person. But things I know I'm interested in: Any of the older, square headstock Breedlove Revivals. 2012/13/14 Taylor DN5, GS5, DN8, or GA8 or a natural 517 (no E). Open to the ES1 on the earlier but would prefer to avoid the ES2 on the later. Larrivee L05 so long as the neck isn't super skinny (they seem to go through seasons). I'm Yairi-curious but no direct experience. Just trying to nail down a happy, larger bodied strumming companion.
