It seems not one has been brave enough to even put a sound hole in one.... in the front anyway .

Someone mentioned that the fourth model is called the XX? That's 20 in Roman numerals, so I say it's a revamped X20.

If that’s true I don’t even need to see it; I already want one bad.

I was hoping for a short scale X20, And even though I suspect the fourth guitar will be some kind of an X20 innovation, I can’t imagine it being as simple as say a 12 fretter.

I do really like the redesigned X7 though- Something about the larger body in the deeper cutaway makes that guitar super sexy, and it IS a 12 fretter! Now I just wish I could hear one, and make the very difficult first world decision should I order one... Blue or Amber??

"Destined to be an Emerald production guitar"... and, it isn't a short scale X20. This IS something different.

Check out the Facebook Live...

It's at roughly the 1:44 mark. An updated X20 would have consolidated the X range better and sharpened the positioning of each model, but I can see how this new product would create more buzz for the brand and broaden its appeal.

Red!

Actually I had an amber x7 and it is a very nice color. The green looks great too. I don't know how I'd decide...
