Tinkering part two....
After my morning clients today - I dug into fashioning a truss rod cover to match the armrest overlay I did a few days ago.
Didn't take too long biggest trick was to get it to fit JUST right so it didn't slide around. I did it Goodall style so I only had to use one screw. Turned out pretty nicely.

It ties in nicely with the binding around the headstock.

For several years now I've been looking for something that gets me 90% of the way to my customs tonally, but I don't have to worry as much about taking out somewhere. The wide neck and great tone of this one make it almost perfect for that job! We'll see....I'm on the home stretch toward retirement and as most of you know, a bit of a minimalist. I've been all about having less these days, but I sure love this little guitar!
