Few questions for you,

1. Is this guitar bigger than a parlor?

2. Does this guitar do well for strum and sing?

I'm beginning to feel that dreads and GA are too big for playing comfort, and this one is really nice from what I've seen on YouTube reviews.
I just put on new strings and realized that my soundbite didn't do this model justice.
This guitar is bigger than a parlor. It's bigger than the Eastman parlor models. You can strum this guitar hard without distortion.
Last year, Eastman came out with three limited edition models that were all stained wood: an E1OO 12 fret, an E1OOSS like mine, and an E1P parlor. If you Google, there's a review that compares these.
This OOSS gives good bass, but with an attenuated volume that doesn't overpower your singing.
If I could only have one guitar, I would want something bigger, but that's me.

Thanks for your thoughts. This one looks interesting as I'm looking for something that's good for couch practice but isn't one of those mini or baby-something.

Congratulations. I'm a BIG Eastman fan from way back.

Lovely guitar and a great demo. I got a good sense for how it sounds - and it's wonderful.

Enjoy!
