Last of The Mohicans/The Gael - with Tonewood Amp
I won't be doing many more of these demo type videos, it's just I'm so impressed with the sound that comes out of the guitar. Obviously I don't sit around the house paying the Tonewood, it'd be a waste of batteries. For me, it's totally changed the way I approach playing live, I actually feel a little less nervous, knowing the guitar sounds the way it does with the extra effect.
So far I've demoed (is that a real word?) the Hall Reverb, the Tremelo effect, and this week I'm using the Delay effect on this Dougie MacLean/Trevor Jones tune. Guitar tuning is DADGCD. And I really ought to try and smile more on these things! I always look so serious. |

Interesting. Great that you can play acoustically but also have a delay (and react to it)

Outstanding! The delay fits really well with that piece, which is one of my favorites. I remember the movie theaters in my area used to play the score for "Last of the Mohicans" during the intermission between movies and I always found it very stirring (hard to believe that was over 25 years ago).

That was great. Reminded me of the fight scene between Chingachgook and Magua.
