It's impressive how he parts from a traditional aesthetic and makes it his own. And soundwise this will be at least as impressive I guess. Congrats!!! I suppose you won't get bored with your little collection

Well, the reactions are so priceless. If only JT could test out ALL my guitars first.

Justin - you will be delighted! I had a chance to play the guitar and it is very nice indeed.

Wow...that's a monster of a belt buckle. The nickel in the picture, for perspective, looks teeny.

Beautiful guitar, BTW Juston(with an o)

I’m glad you got a chance to play it. I can’t wait to put some hours on it.

While the guitar is stuck in FedEx "shipment exception" purgatory, here are some glamor shots Laurent took. As the photos clearly demonstrate, and as jt1 has asserted here and elsewhere (correctly), this guitar is too good for the intended recipient.

It looks like the back and sides have a little flame figure. Very cool.

Yeah, it's a gorgeous guitar. And, amazingly, sounds as good as it looks. I was privileged to play this guitar at last weekend's Artisan Guitar Show. About as perfect as a guitar gets for my ears, hands, and eyes.

I would have played the blues on it, but, given Juston's taste in case colors, I was limited to playing the mint greens. Still, this thing sounded bluesy.

A good one.

OK, I lied in my earlier post, simply out of not wanting to offend Laurent.

I'm happy to offend Juston, though. The guitar sucks!

(Laurent is brilliant.

A certain fellow, who shall not be named, grabbed another of Laurent's guitars that appeared at the show.

Of the top three flattops in the show, this, uh, gentleman, bought, uh, all three. Life ain't fair!)
