Premium BRW. ‘35 style shadetop (hard to photograph). Big, loud, woody vintage D-28 tone. This one made me sell my ‘53 mystery top D-28 so it’s a stud. No trades on this one.

It’s a hair under 1 3/4....my best measurement is 1 23/32. Great neck!

What's the neck, did you say it was a modern taper and if so what does that mean exactly?

Interesting. This appears to be a custom neck order with 1 23/32 nut and 2 3/16 string spacing.

Standard profile is chunky C to V shape with 1 3/4 nut and 2 5/16 string spacing.

Only the spacing is different. And it’s probably more precisely a 1 47/64” nut. It’s still a full C to a soft V. More like a vintage Gibson neck in terms of spacing and taper than how the Martin necks become a big barrel up the neck. It’s a fantastic playing instrument. Made me sell my 53 mystery top D-28.
