Yeah, well, they're that good. Now you know! And welcome to the club!

Here are some photos of marquetry being made and end graft being end grafted.

The more I look at that pernambuco the more I like it. And Laurent is the master of the burl inlay.

Coming along well!

Next time I come North, I will bring all my guitars and we can get together for some comparing, picking, grinning, and general frivolity.

If you are so inclined

Juston, I am smitten with this build. That pernambuco is so beautiful, and knowing how good Laurent's guitars can be I am thinking this one will have a little choir of angels that comes with it.

Thanks! The pernambuco is very cool. I used to hate the look, but it grew on me.

The woodwork is done and now it's on to finish . . . i.e. the slow, painful part of the process.

Laurent had artistic license to do pretty much whatever he wanted. I think it turned out gorgeous. I can't wait to see it under finish and, of course, to play it.

It looks incredible Juston, and I also like how Laurent has put numbers on the fretboard for you...very helpful for those pesky days when the brain just refuses to work.

He’s going to inlay the fingering for a few of my favorite songs.

Very cool guitar. Like you, Pernambuco has grown on me too. I especially like the matching purfling. If completed, I would vote that you bring this to B.I.G.!

I was planning on it, guys, but I don’t think the guitar will ship to me until the first week of April. I’ll likely bring my Brondel A-2c with Madagascar rosewood back and sides and my Circa OM.
