Passwords online...I go to buy something simple and the security is set up as if I were buying a weapon or something. If it takes a lot to sign in, I'm done with that site.

If I'm not likely to buy from them again, or just in a hurry I'll use PayPal. A few clicks and done.

Littering. I mean really. Just wait and find a trash can or bring the darn thing home with you. I live on a lovely country road and in warmer weather I'm out picking up litter. I even wrote a little ditty about how I feel about litterers.

One of my pet peeves is using the word "superb" to describe a guitar. That seems to be the AGF adjective of choice for 2022. I was recently talking to one of our forum friends about guitar descriptors, and he asked me, "Since when did 'superb' become a thing when it comes to guitars?!"

I've noticed an uptick in the use of "stunning" this year.

Yes, "stunning" and "superb"... superlative superlatives.

Inflation doesn't just concern money; there's language inflation, too! That's how a jar of olives can be described as 'awesome'!

You should try Acme brand olives. They're iconic! And they eat like butter!

And they literally blow other olives out of the water.

I have heard Acme olives are very consistent. All of the taste tests on Youtube were quite positive. I'd order Acme olives online without hesitation. On the other hand, Globex olives are very hit or miss. You have to eat at least ten jars to find one jar that tastes good. The guys on the Jarred Condiments Forum (JCF) call it the "one to ten rule".

I tried many jars of Globex before buying the one that tasted the best.

As long as they are not out of a can.

How about "the steak was cooked to perfection and tasted like butter".
