Default Looking for a sub-$2K OM - FOUND ONE

Hey everyone. Looking for a sub-$2K OM. Furch is of particular interest. Am a fingerstyle player (with thumb pick) so the more responsive to bare flesh on strings the better. Also need lower action and would prefer not to have to get a setup right away. Thanks!

Default Any of the thermocured Eastman models

The E-6/8/10/20OM-TC. All depends on what you want for top Sitka or Adirondack and back/sides - IER or mahogany. I wouldn't guarantee not needing a set up, but when they are set up, Eastman just seems to accel at OMs.

Default Looking for a sub-$2K OM

That’s for the responses everyone. Keep ‘em coming. By way of background, I have owned the gamut from Lowden to Ibanez and many in between. Martin, Collings, SCGC, etc. I’d prefer a Furch mostly but am willing to see what’s out there. I had a chance at a vintage OM-3 but it fell through. If anyone has one of those I’d be interested. I’ve had an Eastman before (E10OM-TC) and it was a great guitar, but ready to try something different. Thanks!

I’ve got a nice Larson Bros (Furch/DuPont) Maurer ES. I just won an SCGC OM with similar specs, so can let this one go.

For 2 grand you can get a yellow or even an Orange furch OM on the slightly used market. Just got to be patient and wait for the rite one.
I think a Sub 2 grand furch will compete with a few guitars costing twice as much.

Congratulations. The 23 series is equivalent to the yellow series. I had the G23 CR. If it had the smaller 43 mm nut I would still have it.
