Default NTD (New Tuner Day)

Santa was great. He brought a set of Delta 510 tuners for my Seagull S6. They are beautiful, but must importantly they make precise tuning a joy with their 1:21 ratio.

The finished product.

And now for the 'before'....

Joy and bliss are mine.

If you are interested, I have added my installation step-by-step in the Build n Repair section http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=277833

It looks great! the color really matches the headstock. Did you have to drill any holes?

Yup - just pilot holes for the attachment screws. Nothing very difficult. The tuners just retrofit into the existing tuner holes. All done including the stringing in about 2 hours - and that was taking my time.

I had the Gotoh 510s built to order on my Taylor 714. It's a nice upgrade, for sure, both in function and aesthetics. Enjoy!

Thanks guys - they really are a nice tuner. At 1:21 they're more precise than anything else I've ever tried. And I agree - I think they look nice.

Cheers,

Steve

It's true - the difference between 1:18 and 1:21 is very noticeable. I tried out a BTO Taylor with these tuners and thought they were fantastic... the antique gold is really nice too.
