Beautiful work on this song! Took me a second to trace its familiarity back to Tony Rice's version on Church Street Blues. Thanks for sharing-

Great job on this great old song, Basil. I learned this song back in about 1973 from my English friend, David, who sent me the LP with this song on it all the way from Manchester, England to where I was living in Plano, TX.

Lovely to hear this song again, Basil!

Thanks a lot, Glenn! Wow, thanks for sharing your story, I can only imagine how it was back then (I haven't even been born, yet!) I heard it first in school. One day our English teacher brought a guitar to school and we sang it together in class. :-)
