Default Beautiful

It is cold out in NJ... and when it's cold I think of Gordon Lightfoot...

This is Beautiful, and I am playing my Martin Custom 000 Cherry Hill. I hope you enjoy it!

That’s really nice Sal. I have to confess I’m not enough of a Lightfoot fan to know much of his material, but I definitely recognize this one and you do it really well. At this age I’m not all that likely to really dive into his catalog and learn his stuff, but I’m real tempted to check out a few of his tunes in more depth.

Beautiful indeed, brother. Love that song and you did it proud. And I really like the sound of that Martin! Good post, Sal.

Thank ye mates. Always a kind word from you fellas. Song for a winters night is another great tune to cover. But there are some songs that are just simple good one take songs, and this is one.

Anyway cheers to your evening…

Enjoyed this Sal. Was not familiar with the song, but dig the chord changes and the relaxed vibe of the song. You and the Martin sound great.
