Default NGD-Mcpherson Sable

Just got it home and I am really impressed. Due to purchase of Kim Walker 12 fret I had to promise wife to unload 5.0 McPherson Ari/flamed hog and Rainsong APLE. The Sable gets me back to both in spades. Will post some more once I put it through the paces and get past honeymoon period

Cool, that's the one that interests me, not that I need a guitar! Lol

I'd love to be able to check one out....looking forward to your review. Congrats on what appears to be a pretty awesome guitar! May I ask where you got it?

I got lucky and was able to go test drive it locally before I purchased it. Guitar Maverick in Keller, Tx. I believe they have 3 more coming.

I'm not the best at providing reviews. But after playing for several days, it reminds me of my McPherson 5.0 for tone, playability and that unique McPherson sound. I play worship once a month and this Sable will be perfect for that. Sounds great plugged in and the intonation is spot on. Stays wonderfully in tune. Prefer the Rainsong APLE for fingerpicking and the bluesy 12 fret vibe, but other than that the Sable is really fantastic.

Congrats, Rwpierce! But please keep in mind that AGF rule #587.2 clearly states all NGD posts need to be accompanied by photos.
