NICE! By the way, he has a Crate V50 electric amp behind him and I once had a Crate V15. These Crate V-Series tube amps were really great sounding amps for their price!

Hadn't paid much attention to the amps, as I don't think that he was plugged into one. Nice recording tone. I would love to have the guitar. I've tried a number of the old Oahu squarenecks, but they really have narrow string spacing.

If you're unfamiliar with acoustic lap steel tone I'd suggest you check out the tone of Weissenborn-style laps.

The video posted is very nice.

I have a Michael Dunn Weissenborn and a Rayco Baritone Weissenborn. Also an old late 30s Kay-build Galiano squareneck. Good but not great, that last. I'd love to see something like the Hermann in the video, to see if it sounds live like it did in the vid.

Ever run across any other Parlour-sized purpose-built squarenecks?
