SOLD Yamaha LS16ARE Solid Engelmann/Rosewood - beautiful Price drop-$675
This is one beautiful Yamaha LS16ARE, the concert size (about the same size as an auditorium) from the Yamaha top of the line L series.
ARE is Yamaha's torrefied wood treatment that makes for an aged wood sound. Better than new, IMO.       Easy playing, beautiful tonality. Solid nicely figured rosewood back and sides, ARE treated Engelmann spruce top, 5 ply rosewood/mahogany neck, maple binding. Info: https://usa.yamaha.com/products/musi...l#product-tabs It is a 2015, and has had little playing time (~100 hours). Minimal if any fret or other wear, no marks I can see. Action is low. Has the passive SRT Piezo Pickup, and the Yamaha hard shell case, also excellent, which is an optional item for these. It has a clear, very flexible and thin pickguard, and a rosewood armrest, which I like a lot but which can be easily removed without damage. Bone nut and saddle, not the original plastic ones. I doubt there are any cleaner and better appointed LS16s. Don't be put off by the low price. This is a quality instrument by any measure. I've dropped the price, which is now firm.
