Thumbs up Near Mint MJ Franks OM-D Cutaway--Adirondack/Old Growth EIR--No longer available

First off, I describe conditions conservatively. By near mint I mean a couple of light surface microscratches. Nothing through the finish.
Kept in a non-smoking, humidity and temperature controlledenvironment.

I have been getting a number of offers so have decided to go this direction here on AGF. Just saw where a 2010 similar to this model was listed for $4500 earlier this year. This guitar has little to no playwear, is a 2015 and old growth East Indian Rosewood to boot. It is still listed for sale on Ebay and Reverb. $3999.00. If you prefer to buy rather than trade, please PM. All serious offers will be considered.

I posted a few days ago re: potential trade considerations. I will consider other builds/makers with 1 3/4 nut and 2.25 to 2 5/16ths string spacing. Looking for American Black Walnut back and sides in particular but not exclusively. OM or SJ body size

This is a fantastic example of Mike's work. Opening up beautifully. I hate to part with it but at this point I am working on reigning in GAS again so am back to my "you can't get a new one without giving one up" policy.

Professionally set up by Mike himself. 6E--7/64th's and 1E--5/64ths.

Listed with full specs and photos on Reverb and Ebay.

This is an incredibly comfortable guitar to play in all ways. I have medium sized hands and don't feel cramped for space at all.

Specs:
Extra-stiff, fine-grain Adirondack spruce top
Adirondack bracing
Old-growth East Indian rosewood back and sides
Highly figured koa binding
Herringbone top purfling
LR Baggs Lyric pickup
One-piece Honduran mahogany neck
Strap button
Ebony fingerboard with green abalone split-diamond fret markers
Ebony bridge
Bone nut and saddle
Waverly open-back oval tuners
SKB heavy duty travel case with plush inside. (Durable and lightweight)
25.4 scale
1-3/4 nut; 2-3/16 string spacing
Upper Bout--11"
Lower Bout---15 1/4"
Body Length--19 7/16"
Medium-depth C shaped neck profile
Bone unslotted bridge pins
Deep glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finish everywhere except satin-finish neck
Standard OM dimensions with a deep body - 3-1/2 at neckblock, 4-3/8 at the tailblock
.
Thanks for your interest.

Mike builds impeccably superb guitars. He was featured in an article in this past January's Acoustic Guitar magazine. His build time has grown to a year or so when I last checked This is a fantastic guitar. I am just trying to thin the herd. Please continue to PM if you're interested.Thanks.
