Default Acoustic Guitar Magazine is a no show

Twice I've signed up for the magazine but never seem to get a hard copy. The first time I thought maybe i misread something and only signed up for a digital copy but this time I double checked the fine print and I believe I should be getting a hardcopy. I've sent an email w/o any luck. Any suggestions?

Complain a lot. I did.

To them you are just a number and a dollar; 'customer service' is an oxymoron.

Did you subscribe online or from a postcard insert out of a magazine? Or, did you subscribe from an offer letter you got in the mail?

I heard from multiple sources that Acoustic Guitar magazine is no more. Shut down.

Tony Polecastro mentions in the most recent episode of Acoustic Tuesday (#46? 45?) that he begrudgingly is receiving "Guitarist" magazine for the remainder of his subscription. I love Guitarist personally, despite being a mostly acoustic player/collector overall, it's about my favorite guitar publication ever.. you can tell he hates the bias toward electric, and says as much I don't know why exactly, but it's the single guitar magazine that sucks me in the hardest and that I enjoy most (I read just about all, or most, of them: F.J., guitarist, guitar player, vintage guitar, guitar world, AG )

Anyway, wondering if others might chime in; I bought a copy of AG off the shelf about a month or 2 ago, but have never had a subscription.... but I've heard several times that they were shutting it down.

"Acoustic Guitar" magazine is alive and well, I get my copy every month...

The mag that has ceased publication is the UK based "Acoustic" mag...the subscriptions were, I believe, shifted to the UK "Guitarist" mag...

There was a lot of folks confusing the 2 magazines when "Acoustic" ceased publication...

If you've paid for a subscription to "Acoustic Guitar" and you're not getting a hard copy, you should CALL the phone number on the website...

The few times I've had a question, or I want to order something from the store, I call and they handle things to my satisfaction without fail...

magazine, what is that?

they may be short staffed and it will take a while. i've had that problem in other situations. the customer service staff seems to be minimal all over.

play music!

I've subscribed to AGM off and on for the past several years. I've had a couple magazines lost or damaged by the Post Office. I've always gotten great service when I call the magazine. They sent me a replacement el pronto.

I am a subscriber and get mine every month.
I did, however, have a small issue which they corrected ASAP.

I initially subscribed in July 2017. In February 2018, I received a notice that this was the last copy of my subscription and needed to renew. I was pretty sure they were off but just renewed anyway since I wanted to keep getting their publication.

All of a sudden. I started receiving 2 copies of each monthly publication. After a couple of months of that, I e-mailed them and explained my situation.
I received a reply the next day confirming my suspicions. They said they corrected their records and extended out my current subscription to reflect the early renewal.

I was actually surprised at the quick and helpful response. Maybe my threat to cancel "if they can't or won't remedy the situation" worked.

What ever you do, don't subscribe via a response to an email offer. Scams everywhere these days.
