Default Takamine E341

I recently acquired a Takamine E341 and was wondering what this is approximately worth. The guitar is in a hard shell Takamine case and is in excellent condition. Doesn't look to have been played very much. Great bright sound.
Appreciate any help on valuing this.
Thanks,

If the guitar is like the one in the above link, it was made in the Takamine pro facility in Japan. Even though it has laminate back and sides, it has a solid cedar top and It's build quality and electronics allow it to retail new for around $1200. Used in fair to good condition can bring $400-$800 depending on the current market.

If it's an EG 341 model it is made in China and sells new for around $400.

How do you distinguish between the various models. The only marking on the guitar that I can see says "E341". No "EF", "EG" or any other letters. I see the serial numbers but thats about it.
Thanks for the help and the response.

EF341 maybe?
Is there any letters after the 341?
Also there should be a serial number at the base of the neck. You can see it through the sound hole.
First 2 numbers are the year

It's probably an older model made in the 70"s or 80's. if you go to Takamine's web page and find their contact page, find the closest Takamine distributor and call them. Here's a link to their "find a distributor" page :

Hey OP, depending on which 341 variant you have it can have a resell value anywhere from $250-$800.

Take a look inside the guitar at the heel block. You should see a serial number sticker there. What are the first two digits? This will be your year of manufacture.

The older 341s were spruce over mahogany, and they later changed to cedar over maple. Should be easy enough to tell the back between those two options.

You seem pretty sure about the "E", so I'm assuming it has built-in electronics. There SHOULD be an "F" after the "E", and it's very possible on letter got stamped very lightly and you can't see it. There could also be an "S" or "C" after it to denote a solid top or cutaway. Does it have a small brown control box with either three or four sliders, or does it have a black preamp box with a battery tray?

Does it have a cutaway or no? Does it have an open-book Gibson-style headstock or a standard Takamine headstock with the point at the top?

Lots of things to consider, but the year will be a good starting point. Photos will help a lot too.
