http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/p...Amp?sku=480989 Then yes its an amazing amp! I have a Peavey Classic 50, a Fender Blues Deluxe and a Palomino V32!!! The Palomino's hold thier own to both of my other amps. If I just did not get another Taylor I would buy 2 of these from the link above!

The drummer from a band I had in high school (we recently began communicating after 38 years; he plays guitar now) just bought a new Crate V18-112. It would have been quite a disappointment had he paid more than the $150 that it cost. For example, the volume control interacts with an adjacent tone control such that adjusting the volume causes a change in tone. The fix was to move the volume control to a different position. It was also very noisy but removing an IC on the circuit board fixed that problem.
I don't know anything about the V50 series but I hope it is designed with greater care. It is likely to be quite different as it is a class AB amp and the V18 is a class A.
