Default Allman Brothers

While I was in Weaverville, NC, I did a couple of videos for Paul Huemiller of Dream Guitars.

Wow, Toby... superb! That one amazes me every time I hear you play it. Your thumb really gets a workout. Great tune and phenomenal playing. That's one of my favorites of the ABB... that and maybe, "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed." Let me know when you get that one worked out.

Nice H&D and excellent recording!

Awesome playing and very well done video, Toby! And of course, the sound is superb!

What a great job! And I like that gray background they have there at Dream Guitars! It really helps to bring the player forward!

Thanks for sharing that Toby!

Thanks Kerbie. The next one I'm thinking of doing is 'Jessica.'

Wow! Mind blown! That is truly fantastic. So if we yell out "Whipping Post" at your concerts, will you then play it? Or do we have to yell "El Whipping Post"?

3 thumbs up from a fellow fingerstylist(not of your ilk for sure) is the highest praise that can be!

Excellent!

That was great and I love "Jessica".

Very nice sir !~!~!

I wish I had you thumb-picking prowess, very impressive as always.

Dream Guitars eh? What did you get to play? What impressed you, if they said take one home, no charge, what would it be.

Thanks for posting those videos......

Thanks Rich. I had a chance to play a couple of the guitars that they brought over to the Swannanoa Gathering. One was a '37 Martin 00 and the other was a new Thompson - both $15,000. The Martin was off the charts.

Outstanding! Love your interpretation of this classic ABB song. I'm probably also partial to "...Elizabeth Reed," but will look forward to hearing your version of "Jessica."
