Hey Matt - I always look forward to new stuff from you. This is great take on a classic tune. Your playing is first rate, and nice vocals as well. Really well done!

Very nice Matt, you have your own style, which is a really good thing, well done.....

As an side of all the concerts we saw in the 70's, the Band had the best live sound of anybody, saw them a bunch, we were almost a cover band did so many of their songs. We closed shows with "Shape I'm In".

I like your stuff a lot, keep making music !~!~!

As some have mentioned already, you put your own stamp on that tune, and it's well sung and played. And I can say that even after listening to Aretha Franklin and Duane Allman's version in the wake of yesterday's news.

As a sloppy dabbler in lap style, I kept watching your bar work and reminded myself that there's a lot that can be done in that area. I tip my hat (should I say, tip my steel?) to you on that.

Thanks everybody. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's my closer most nights.

Everton, I certainly do writ my own songs. You search "Matt Bradford" on Spotify or iTunes or wherever and I come right up. Except Pandora. For some reason, they don't like me.

First of all I love that song.
You really did make it your own and I can see why you use it for your "closer."
Always leave'em wanting more!

Great job! You got some skills.

Well done! One of my favorite songs, and I'll admit, I cringe when I hear someone say "my take on it". But this was excellent, and one of the best versions I've heard (IMHO).

Thanks for sharing!
