C. Bruno Brazilian Parlor price drop SOLD
So this beautiful little thing was built for the Charles Bruno company of New York in the 1890s. From what I’ve read this was long after C F Martin made guitars for this company and it was likely built by Oscar Schmidt, the man himself. It features a spruce top, a gorgeous set or Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony bridge and fingerboard. It sounds amazing and plays great thanks to a repair that was done when the neck was broken in shipping. The neck was put back on at a more proper playing angle and now it’s fantastic!

They are indeed some of the better parlors from the period! And this one has some gorgeous Brazilian

Mine had gorgeous looking Brazilian also, or so I thought. Looking inside it was mahogany. The Brazilian was hand painted and was incredible. Sound was still incredible too. It had colored perfling and was so sweet to play. Good luck on your sale.
