Definitely buy the best possible that you can afford. When I was younger I bought amps that were considerably cheap for my age and those gave me a lot of frustration during the learning process and all the reselling was trouble I don't ever want to go through again.

Default AER

I own an AER Domino 3 and it is amazing. There are less expensive models but you will never need another acoustic amp once you have experienced an AER. I have owned a Fender and Roland, no comparison.
