My new toy
I decided I wanted to try my hand at messing around with midi so I picked up an EMU-1212m soundcard and an EMU-X49 USB keyboard. I didn't know that there was so much to know about midi creation. After about 4 hours of fiddling around I was finally able to get a sound out of my soundcard when I pressed a key on the keyboard. A few hours later I created my first orchestral composition. I think I'm going to enjoy messing around with this stuff.
