Barry, to me, a 2011 cracked/repaired 314 isn’t worth anywhere near $1,100.00 even if it sounds good. Resale, for anyone included to sell, would be somewhere south of there. I’ve purchased used mint 314’s for under $1,000.

I wonder how much they would knock off. The tone was really nice.

Default What about the Cort SJ-10?

Hi Barry,

Did you by any chance look at the Cort SJ-10 at that store?:

https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Co...tric-Guitar.gc

I am interested in it, but I can't find any specs on it or videos of it at all.

Thanks!

I bought my 2013 314ce in dead mint condition last year from Gryphon for $1150 out the door. Even that is probably middle-top of the range.

A 314 with a crack repair? Assuming the frets and neck are very good I'd say it's ~$700.

Excellent! I need to know the following:

- Top wood
- Back & sides wood / laminated?
- Nut width
- String spacing at saddle
- Depth of lower bout
- Width across lower bout
- Smoothness of tuners
- Neck profile (C- D- U-shape, etc) and thickness
- Fretboard material
- Neck material and how many pieces
- Also if it sounds good

OK kidding about most of that except nut width and spacing at saddle and sound, LOL.

Oh, and get a video.

And if you love it, don't buy it! LOL

I sent you a pm. Its a $340 guitar. It is what it is. Try it, put new strings on it and see how it feels. It didn't feel cramped to me (the nut). It could have been 1.72

Looks like it is now $754.99:

Used Taylor 214CE Acoustic Electric Guitar Natural

No mention of the repaired crack.

Tempting, considering you said it sounded so good.

He said 314, not 214. But GC makes mistakes so I don't know if its the same guitar.

If you're a player its a good one.

If I paid a note or two above the "best" price for this guitar I'm not sure if I would care.

Finding a guitar that sounds a little special offsets the wrong price in some cases.
