Btw, I emailed Taylor support, and surprisingly, much of their GS Mini Hogs uses Honduran Mahagony. Considering that GS Minis are produced in huge quantities, perhaps taylor is to be blamed for the dwindling supply of Honduran

Are these made of solid Honduran or just decorated with a thin veneer?

They use ebony for the bridges but there's nothing wrong with using richlite for a fingerboard. I have an ebony fingerboard guitar and richlite and I can't hear or feel any difference between the two. Visually the ebony is nicer. This has been a hot topic for a few years now. At least with richlite it won't shrink and cause fret ends to poke out.

I think that top is solid, but the body is veneer (laminate).
