Rod Schenk’s guitars play well and sound great. This is a Grand Fingerstyle with Indian rosewood back and sides and Engelmann sound board. It is in near mint condition. This is my fourth Schenk and I believe it has the best sound yet. It is loud and balanced with excellent note separation. The bass is strong and trebles ring out prominently. Overtones are complex and sustain is excellent. The action is low and the neck if slim and fast. Neck has a round profile probably more "D" than "C" since it's very slim. Thickness, from fretboard surface to back of neck at fret one is 18 mm (45/64"), or 1 mm less than 3/4". If you like a slim neck, it's ideal; very fast.
