Default Ill be a monkeys uncle

My three month old marshall as50d died. No sound. Checked and my alvarez tuner on my mfa66ce was working plugged into my takamine 12 string and same thing no sound. I was fuming all night knowing id have to hassel with boxing it up and shipping it back to sweetwater. Then this morning i plugged it into one of my seagulls and wow the amp worked. Plugged it into the mfa66ce and nothing. Plugged it into the tak and nothing. Off to the dollar store and two batteries later im back in buisness. What's the odds of two batteries going bad at same time. I want to apologize to my marshall for calling it junk!

Well, if you're buying your batteries at the Dollar Store, I'd say that the odds are pretty good

Go get some decent batteries!

The batteries that died are what came in the guitars from the factories. I bought evereadys so ill see how they go.

The factory batteries were in there for how long? Alkalines are the way to go. Dollar store batteries could even be counterfeits, let alone old.
