Default Peter Frampton

Here's a bittersweet Friday night clip for you.

The wonderful Peter Frampton, on his farewell tour, as he plays his heart out in the face of an oncoming degenerative disease.

He is something special.

Thanks for that. I've always really liked Peter Frampton. I sure do wish him well.

I loved Humble Pie, thought he wailed in that group. Played a few songs from them in an early band. When he went solo, didn't care for it as much.

This reminds me of when I first heard him in the early Seventies.

I saw him back in the mid 70’s when the LP “Framton” had just come out and again in August on his final tour. He didn’t miss a single note. Stellar show both times from a true world class entertainer. I’m very sorry to see him stop touring but glad he was able to stop on his own terms and on a high note. I really wish the best for him.

Default More music to come

I was fortunate to see Peter at The Shoreline,CA, - his very last show. Great show! During the concert he mentioned that he's recorded 3 1/2 albums worth of material, of which he's released the "All Blues" already. It's sad that he's not going to be able to play down the road, but pretty cool that he wanted to get more music recorded and under his belt before so.

I think the tour is over and the 2019 tour was his farewell.

I got to see him w/ my daughter last month after seeing him initially in 1974. His technique and sound has always been amongst my favorites, he finally discussed his set-up's in a series of interviews on youtube. So thankful I could share his music with my eldest daughter.....how amazing to get your Les Paul back after a few decades? And Peter has amazing technique, and pro memories!!! Every pro musician I've ever worked with has loved him!
