I have 1997 D' Elite acoustic guitar made by West Coast Luthier George Gorodntski of Master Guitars. Amazing dreadnaught shape guitar
made with Carbon fiber braces back almost 20 years ago.

It has an amazing, clear, loud and deep sound, with added crispness and lows. Indian Rosewood back and sides and European spruce top. Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Simply incredible sounding because of CF bracing. George introduced this guitars at Guild of American Luthiers Convention in 1997 and everyone was just stunned with the result. I believe he was one of first ever to use carbon fiber braces. So, this guitar is very unique.

Cool! Another interesting design idea is Mario Proulx has been using combination spruce/carbon-fiber braces on his guitars for quite awhile. One way or another, carbon fiber is here to stay, and I believe it will play an ever-increasing role in guitar design and construction.

The CF bracing combined with European spruce top/Rosewood hybrid construction adds a deep low end without the boominess plus a crisp quick clear tone. Curious to know since the late 90's how has the CF bracing along with traditional woods developed. A little surprised its not used more vs the all CF construction approach.

Dead Tree Guitars makes a carbon-sided acoustic (one of which I have).
A wonderful, responsive instrument.
