Kudos, Mark and congrats, Doug!

This really looks to be an amazing instrument, and it sounds wonderful!

Really hoping that Doug brings it to BIG(er)! (Hint, hint...)

Yes, Kevin and Mark I do plan to bring my new Fiddleback Tree Mahogany Josie to B.I.G. for workshops and informal jams.

I've had the guitar for only a few days and it already sounds lush with tremendous low end, along with clear and balanced mid range and highs. Individual notes can sound very piano like depending on the dynamics.
It was a pleasure working with Mark on this build and his workmanship here is remarkable. The Alpine Moon Spruce top in combination with The Fiddleback Tree mahogany truly was as Mark said a "perfect pairing".

This Josie also makes a perfect pair with my other Hatcher, a Greta (cedar - Tree mahogany). Today was a warmish winter day here in Texas so I snapped a couple of pictures of these 2 guitars.

It was a pleasure working with you too doodadoug! It's hard to believe the backs on those two guitars are the same species!

I don't know if is possible to have two guitars anymore beautiful than that pair. Great work Mark, congrats Doug, so looking forward to meeting this one in person. Maybe next year it will work out for Mark to attend, just a little bit of bad timing this year prevented it from happening!
