Default 'Simply Cosmetic' imperfection - check picture

Taylor GA4-12 just listed on ebay.

US$1000.00

Sellers description reads,' The minor issues are pictured. The pulling at the neck looks significant but does not influence sound or playing. It is simply cosmetic.'

Does this look 'simply cosmetic' to you and does that action look a tad high?

Oh yeah that's no biggie at all, you could just buff that right out!

Relative to the frets, the string height looks about right for a guitar with a broken neck.

That's cosmetic in the same way that a hernia isn't.

Gotta tell it as it is. I'd have offered it as "a project" and just been straight up.

I would love to see and hear him play that.

Guessing .013's were a gauge too far. Clean break, though.

Now, I might be a little dense here but shouldn't the grain be running 90° to the grain depicted in that heel to counter a break like that?

As long as it stays in tune, looks fine.

That's an easy fix - look at all the room there is to drop glue into.

It does not look unfixable but definitely not as advertised.
