Canada or Scandinavia...although I don't think they would take me being 65 and retired.

I currently live in the Dallas area, north east by McKinney in Princeton, but moved here due to job. My country has always been the USA, raised in the KC area in a small town north of Kansas City. I have lived in Germany while in the Army in the early 70's and would have chosen there, but, with all the crazy stuff going on there now politically I would not want to live there. If I was forced to choose another country I think probably New Zealand as has been mentioned before by others. I don't think I have ever heard any negative news about New Zealand, and the climate must be okay, got a few golfers from there, so yea, maybe there. I would leave this country kicking and screaming as I love this country and went to Viet Nam for this country and that is a hard thing to switch allegiance to another country. Just sayin'

I live in Tennessee and I would move to Roatan, Honduras in a HEARTBEAT!! I'd open up a bar for the tourists to make a living and snorkel and play music as my hobbies!!

I'm in southeastern Australia & I have an interest to stay long term (either extended holiday or on a working visa) in the US, particularly Pacific NW (& that includes Canada/BC) or the southern Appalachians, NC/SC/Tenn area. In terms of another country to live permanently though I would be more inclined to head across the ditch to NZ. I know enough from a couple of visits there & have lots of Kiwi friends.

Been luck enough to see a little of many countries and. Lived in London (1965-1969) and Paris (1980). Lived most of my life in the Washington, DC area, but lived in Northern California too (1971-1975). My wife and I have no plans to even move out of our house. However, if we had to move, and move to another country, we would likely pick a warm climate and someplace where Spanish is spoken as my wife is fluent in Spanish. We have spent time in Ecuador each of the last e winters and found it to be a really beautiful place to be. We felt welcome and comfortable and made friends with Ecuadorans and ex pats. It would be on 'the list'. Spain might make it to the list as well. We have spent time there recently, have friends who live there, and found much to like there. My wife wouldn't want to live there for reasons beginning with the weather, but living in England would suit me fine. Really, I could adapt to life in a lot of places, but like to be able to spend time with friends and family I could see often enough when work and raising families limited those opportunities. Washington is also a great city to be in.

US (IL)--->Canada (BC). Unfortunately, we're in our late '60s, I'm retired, and with my medical history they'd turn me away at the border. Bob, being a cardiologist, might get in. We have plenty of money on which to retire (even in crazy-expensive Vancouver) and could probably even make a deposit in advance to equal our projected medical care...but Canada doesn't do that. So we'd have to settle for vacationing there.

I live in the San Juan Islands about 10 miles from the Canadian border. A move to British Columbia would not be much of a change, and that would be a good thing.

USA (New Jersey) -> Canada

I'd love to go to Australia, but my wife prefers colder weather.

When I ain’t serving time in the Columbus Stockade (Georgia), I’m in Moravian Falls NC, my childhood home.

I’d love to retire back to the Blueridge. Two more years, max.

Of all places overseas from me, I love the Borders the best. My people were Geordies.

About 10 years ago I looked into emigrating to New Zealand. Unless you are independently wealthy or are a brain surgeon or eqivalent they don't take anyone over 50 stating that it would be a drain on their health care system...interesting.

Live in Iowa, central US.

Within the US I'd like to move to Wisconsin or Montana.

Outside the US it'd be Norway/Sweden, Switzerland or Slovenia. Maybe Iceland, but I like forests...

Northern Indiana, center and top of the state and I don't like it. The winters are long, cold and snowy. The summers are humid no matter the temp. I don't have a location in mind that I would like to live but the idea place would be low humidity, little to no snow or winter and temps that rarely go above 70. I'm perfectly comfortable with a sunny 60 degree day.

I live in Wales. I would probably move to England. Although it doesn't really count as both are in the UK.

Australia sounds good but Christmas in the summer is just wrong.

I lved in Pittsburgh for a few years as a kid, so maybe the US.

I'm quite happy where I am.
