BPD Go
My version of Baby Please Don't Go by Big Joe Williams, just recorded with my old Gibson 37 L-0.
I used myShure SM58. Guitar had my Baggs M80 soundhole pickup, but it was set for my Blues King with pole pieces way low, didn't reset it, adding a bit of traditional ‘clank’. This runs to my (really old) Fishman Pro-EQ. Both the mic and guitar run to my Boss VE-8 to balance the channels plus reverb etc. I have played the song a few times since 1976! This one is in Open F tuning, (G tuning down 2 steps). https://soundcloud.com/bk7-3/babypdg777z BluesKing777. |
