Help posting a SoundCloud link

Haven’t posted a SoundCloud link in ages and the way I used to do it isn’t working. Apparently something has change in AGF or SoundCloud. So what exactly do I need to paste between the SoundCloud brackets?

Works fine for me. Make sure you have no spaces, and the words "SOUNDCLOUD" are in CAPS

Also, the link you provided above is not what you put between the brackets. When I clicked that link which took me to your track, you have to click "Share" and use THAT link in the share window that soundcloud gives you.

Yep. I got it now. I have to get the link from the individual song page not the SC homepage. Once I got that link it posts sweet and easy like it always used to. Thanks again!

Roy, I see you got it, but here are the directions from the FAQs. There is a ton of help with all kinds of forum instructions at the bottom of the FAQ page. Look for a link called "Board FAQs." Lots of help there.

Yep. FAQ was the first place I looked. When I didn’t find the answer there I started this thread and quickly got the info I needed. The initial link I got from SC didn’t work. I had to follow that link to the individual song page to get the right link. Who knew?

But I’ve got it now so you can delete this thread if you want, my friend.

The soundcloud.app link you were trying to use will take you to the track in the SoundCloud app. In a browser it will redirect to the browser version of the track, but the embed bbcode doesn't understand that and needs the direct link to the browser page.
