Ernie Ball Earthwood, Travel Acoustic Guitar, Baby model. These are VERY Rare and U.S. Made

This is one of the Earthwood model Acoustic instruments designed and produced by Ernie Ball.
My research shows these were produced in Ernie Ball’s 2nd Run of Instrument production which ran from 1977 up to 1985,
and included other instruments such as the Earthwood Bass, Full size Acoustic Guitars and a Mandola too.
These BABY GUITARS are seldom seen and Very hard to find.

Although it’s a small, travel sized guitar, (think Tacoma Papoose), it is very nicely appointed.
It has a Spruce Top with Rosewood back and sides. It also has an Ebony Bridge and Fretboard with Abalone Dot inlay.

The Mahogany neck is BOLTED ON. It has an adjustable truss Rod is also Angle Adjustable on the guitar,
The tuners are German Made Schaller units. This really is nicely appointed for a small, travel size guitar.

The guitar is 32” in total length and 11 inches wide at the lower bout.
The body depth goes from 2.75” to 3”. The Scale length is 19 inches.

The guitar is in very good condition overall but has substantial wear on the top from happy strumming.
It comes with the Factory Paperwork and adjustable neck wrenches and a Factory supplied Nylon gig bag.

I have it strung with 12-54 gauge strings and tuned to standard E to E tuning and it plays and works well.
It can also be Tuned up to a G to G tuning, ala Tacoma Papoose too.
